Bring your favorite drinks, snacks and favorite people! We provide the rest, including cups, ice, and a cork screw! One of our talented local artists will be with you every step of the way as you eat, drink and paint your way to a finished work of art!

No experience is necessary only enthusiasm! 

This is NOT serious painting, it's FUN art! You'll be amazed before the night is over. We'll see you there!

Didn't finish your painting? Never fear! S.O.S. Saturday is from 10 AM-12 PM the first Saturday of every month. Reserve your seat and come fix up any of those little details you may have missed. Oh, and did we mention IT'S FREE!

 Finding Us: We are conveniently located at 1900 Lafayettte St. Ste.2A about four blocks from the Westbank Expressway in the Gretna Shopping Village. The Budget Saver, the Dollar Store, Three Happiness Restaurant and Delgado are all in the same shopping center. We have plenty of parking and it's well lit.   

 

How does Painting With A Twist work? It's simple:

  • Regularly scheduled classes are Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 

  • Click on our Calendar tab to view our choices this month...and register for the one(s) you like best! All you have to do is click on the painting class you wish to attend and follow our easy online registration! We post each following month's calendar by the 15th of the present month!  

  • You can also reserve a seat by calling(504)361-0574 or come visit in person! We would love to meet you!

  • Classes of less than the minimum of 5 sign ups may be postponed or changed. 

    ***Please make sure to reserve your spot early!*** 

    Class Prices: $35 per person for a 2 hour class and $45 per person for a 3 hour class. 

    Children's classes are typically on SUNDAY! They are either a 1.5 hr class for $25 per child or a 2 hour class for $35 per child. Check the calendar for the prices of specific days.

    *** The age for children's classes is 7 on up.***

*** If your teenager is 17 years or older they may attend with you in the evenings.***

Open Studio: Is a class that cost $35/ person and you can choose any two hour painting your heart desires! Maybe it was a painting you saw last month or even one that was this month, but you just can't make and wanted to. That is what open studio is for! We will sketch it for you and give you one on one instruction. Our open studio is held on the first Saturday of every month from 10 AM- 12 PM.

Painting with a Purpose/ Fundraisers: In our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, Painting with a Twist proudly sponsors fundraising classes - Painting with a Purpose.  After the first ten reservations which are kept to cover expenses we donate 50% of the proceeds to the non-profit organization. Contact us if you know of an organization that could use a little ‘Pay it Forward’.

The best days for fundraisers are on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Fundraiser's are like private parties you choose the picture for your group to paint!

Cancellations: We ask that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make it to your reserved class. If we are not notified within 24 hours, then no refunds or store credits will be issued. Please see the Party Info tab for our cancellation policy on private parties.
