Local Painting with a Twist Studios Raise Over $4,300 for Operation Kindness in Sixth Annual Fundraiser
DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TX – February 3, 2025 – Nine local Painting with a Twist studios came together in January for their sixth annual Painting with a Purpose event, raising more than $5,000 for Operation Kindness, the largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas. Over the past six years, these studios have collectively donated more than $15,000 to support the shelter’s mission of providing lifesaving care to homeless pets.
The fundraiser featured a special Paint Your Pet event, where participants created custom portraits of their beloved pets with guidance from local artists. A portion of each registration fee went directly to Operation Kindness, helping provide food, medical care, and shelter for animals in need.
“Painting with a Twist is all about bringing people together for fun, creativity, and community impact,” said Kim Garrison, Franchise Partner at Painting with a Twist and organizer of the event. “We’re thrilled to continue supporting Operation Kindness and to see how much our guests love painting for a great cause.”
Painting with a Twist offers a unique paint-and-sip experience, where guests can enjoy a fun, instructor-led painting session in a relaxed, social atmosphere. The studios regularly host Painting with a Purpose events to support local nonprofits.
