Benefits of a Private Party

Once you secure a date, you can choose the painting for your party from our collection of thousands of different artwork options. A link to the art library will be emailed to you so that you can choose your painting!  You will be able to choose from 2 hour or 3 hour paintings. You may also select from our unique surface choices like wooden plank boards, shiplap, screen art and custom size canvases as well.  (See additional info for Kid's Birthday Parties below)

We schedule parties 7 days a week, space permitting.  We have morning, afternoon and evenings available. You get your own private party room and your own artist! Once you choose a painting, you will be able to send invitations to your guests! Prices are the same per person as our regular open classes. No set up, no clean up - just show up! The room is yours 15 minutes before and after your party at no additional charge. We will provide all of the art supplies, as well as cups, napkins, paper plates, and wine openers. To limit risk of accidental breakage- no glassware for drinking in studio please! Guests may bring decorations, snacks and drinks of their choice. We have two studios available; one will accommodate up to 48 guests and the other will accommodate up to 30 guests. The only limitation is we cannot allow full scale redocrating of the room, no confetti, glitter or x-rated decorations

Are we allowed to bring in beverages and food?

Our studio is all BYOB - we only serve paint water! Feel free to bring in your favorite beverage (adult beverages limited to beer and wine or a premix margarita type beverage) and some light snacks to enjoy during class! Remember you are painting most of the time so finger foods are best!

**BYOB Policy: We welcome bringing your own wine, beer, snacks and food to enjoy during your painting class! No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol. It is against NY State law to leave with an opened, unfinished bottle of wine or beer. Once an alcoholic beverage has been opened, it may not be removed from the studio.

How do I book my party?

 Just call us at (716) 675-6000 or email your request to studio214@paintingwithatwist.com  - Minimum of 10 guests for a private party on Sunday-Thursday and minimum of 15 guests, for adult private parties on Friday or Saturday. Other options always available if you don't have the minimum numbers - just give us a call or end an email.   (Parties wishing to do a couples painting require a minimum of 10 couples) 

*Don't have the party minimum?  No problem!  We have other options available for groups with as little as 5 people.  Just ask about that in your party inquiry. 

How far in advance do I need to book my party?

The sooner, the better!

How do I pay for my party?

The host of the party can secure a reservation with a credit card.   We require a non-refundable deposit.  This deposit is equal to the cost of three guests for your event. The deposit is credited toward your party minimum cost.  Final guest price will be determined based on surface selection.  Guests are encouraged to sign up in advance to ensure seating availailbity, and may register up until the day of the party on-line or by phone.  Guests that do not pre-register for the party, may attend based on seating availabilbity at the door, but may be subject to an additional fee.

Additional Information for Birthday/Kids' Parties

Host a unique party to celebrate your child's birthday, Scout troop, sports team, or dance class!  Kids love painting here and they also love our dance breaks!  Plus, kids leave with their complete masterpieces, so there is no need to come back and pick them up at a later date. Kid parties are can be held Monday - Thursday with before 7PM  or Saturday and Sunday afternoons, based on availability.

Starting at $34+up /painter (great for teens and adults)
Minimum private party size is 10 guests - Sunday - Thursday; 15 guests Friday and Saturday evenings.
Multiple surfaces choices including custom sized canvases, shiplap, wood plank boards, screen art, and cut out shapes!
