Taylor Murdaugh - Stage Artist, Studio Manager and Marketing Manager for us here at Painting With a Twist. With over five years of experience in the paint and sip industry, she has spent the last three teaching classes with us, helping individuals explore their creative side. Holding a degree in Graphic Design, she also engages in logo design and painting commissions. As a lifelong lover of the arts, she enjoys experimenting with various mediums, particularly acrylic paint, digital art, sculpting, and vinyl printmaking. Gwyn

Hey there! My name is Gwyneth, but no, not Paltrow. I recently moved to Charleston from southern California where I studied Physics, French, and Music Technology at Chapman University. I LOVE to paint and do anything crafty. When I’m not painting, I’m singing, knitting, writing, reading, or trying a new restaurant downtown. I’m so excited to have you join one of our classes to relax, unwind, and have a wonderful time creating with me. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or you haven’t painted since kindergarten, come on over to our Mt. Pleasant studio. Let’s get creative!

Hailley

Hi I'm Hailley, and I started teaching at Painting with a Twist in 2023. I have a B.A. in Design, Art, Technology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, where I studied graphic design, video and music production, and two-dimensional art. I love sharing my passion for painting with others! I am obsessed with all things art, music, and pop culture, and I want to hear about what you are obsessed with too! I hope all who attend my class get to let loose and enjoy the process of creating as a truly cathartic experience. My goal is to show everyone that it's okay to let go of your perfectionist tendencies; once you do you'll see how much fun making art can really be. Come join me in class, I can't wait to meet you!

Play me on, Johnny!! I am happy you are interested in learning a bit about me! I am nice, funny, and tall! I am an orangutan who is also a poet. Art will suffer for me. I am the subliminal seducer; I will never dance!! Actually, I do dance! I am the artistic type. I am a skilled eccentric and theatre artist. I enjoy directing, set design, stage combat, singing, acting— the whole nine! I also LOVE to PAINT!. I paint because I love to express myself. I instruct at Painting with a Twist because I love to teach. I enjoy connecting with others and recognizing each participant’s unique style. I am here for you! And a little for me… but mostly for you! I hope to see you soon!

Maranda

Hi! My name is Miranda Triplett. I’ve lived in Charleston since I was 7 years old, and I’ve been an artist since I could grasp a crayon. I’ve worked with acrylic paint, watercolors, digital art, caricatures, clay, yarn, friendship bracelets and more. Fun fact- I’m also a licensed makeup artist! In my free time I like to crochet, play video games, go to concerts, and cat-sit. My goal is to make your PWAT experience the best it can be! When you’re in my class, it’s a singing, dancing, painting PARTY! Every class is different, and each painting is unique. My job is to make sure you 1.) Have the time of your life and 2.) Leave with a personal masterpiece. Come try one of our classes!

Sam

Hey beautiful people, Sam here! If you know me, you know I’m always excited to make things with our amazing customers. I have been in the Paint and Sip industry since 2015 where I started assisting classes in West Palm Beach, FL. A few months in, I was tricked into getting on stage to teach a kids camp painting and haven’t looked back since. I adore everything about this line of work, from the creativity, the personalities, and the room for me to be my quirky self. I usually teach in Knoxville, TN, my home studio. You will sometimes see me pop in our newest studio-Mount Pleasant, to teach classes. I’m still pretty new to the East TN area. My family uprooted from Florida in July 2023 and have embraced the laid back, kind natured atmosphere this state has to offer. With 3 small kids, I find this season of life difficult to do anything creative for myself. Painting with a Twist Farragut (Knoxville) has not only given me time and means to stay connected to that part of my life, but also the room to expand on to new media to share with the community. This year I picked up fiber arts, which I never thought I would get the chance to explore, and now I get to share my knowledge with those just as curious as I was. There are 3 things I promise for all of my classes. 1. I’m gonna be weird. But a good weird, the kind of weird you act like around your best friend when no one is looking. 2. We’re going to learn some new stuff and 3. We’re going to have a blast doing it! Let’s make Fun Art, not Fine Art!

Zeke

Based in our Knoxville studio, catch a class with Zeke when he is hanging out and teaching in Mount Pleasant! Originally from New Orleans/NY, Stage Artist Zeke will entertain you as he teaches a painting from our Gallery! Zeke is a New Orleans Center for Creative Arts graduate with a BA in art – N.O.C.C.A. Zeke has over 8 years of Paint & Sip stage experience. You will sometimes see Zeke working on commission work, at our Farragut studio. He does Oil Painting, Acrylic, and he is unbelievable in Mixed Media! Also working on his very own graphic novel. His specialties are Landscape Painting, Concept Artist, Graphic Design, Portraits, Comics, Stage Artist! He is also a musician & a “magician”!
