Welcome to Pop In & DIY at Painting with a Twist – where creativity meets spontaneity! Dive into an array of DIY projects, perfect for all skill levels and ages. Just drop in during our Pop In hours listed below OR reserve a time to come in, choose your favorite project, and create something uniquely yours using our detailed instructions and inspiration guides.
Guests should expect to spend anywhere from 1-2 hours painting. Pop in & DIY is entirely self-guided. If you are looking for step-by-step instruction, please join us for one of our regularly scheduled painting events. No unpaid observers are allowed, other than parents/guardians of young children. No refunds, all sales are final. If you must cancel, we require at least 2 hours’ notice to receive store credit valid for 1 year.

Walk-In Hours
The following days and times are available if you just want to stop in. Please note that some projects can take longer than others!
Please arrive at least 60 minutes prior to end time to ensure you have enough time to complete your project
- Sunday: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Monday: No walk in hours

What should I expect?
Guests should expect to spend anywhere from 1-2 hours painting.
If painting on one of our wooden cutouts, please note that inventory of shapes may vary and we cannot guarantee that we will have any specific shape.
If coming to make one of our long-lasting, all natural soy candles, we have over a dozen scents to choose from and step-by-step instructions! Candles take about 2 hours to cure so you'll either need to stick around and work on another pop in project or plan to come back to pick it up once it's ready.
Pop In is entirely self-guided. If you are looking for for step-by-step art instruction, please join us for one of our regularly scheduled painting events.
What should I bring?
We are BYOB! Bring whatever you like - wine, beer, coffee, Koolaid, snacks - we don't judge! By law, you must be 21+ to consume alcohol in our studio. Please drink responsibly.
If you are wanting to paint along to video instructions, you'll need to bring a smartphone or tablet with internet in order to view the video. Earbuds are also strongly recommended. We also recommend bringing a charger for your device if it's prone to dying quickly.
Since Pop In & DIY is open to the public, decorations are not allowed. If you are wanting to bring your own decor, please book a private event.
How much does it cost?
Pop In paintings start at $30 and may go up depending on what surface you choose to paint on. Candle making costs $25 as a solo project or, if you want to paint as well, we'll drop that down to $20! To reserve a spot at Pop In, we require a deposit of $20 which does go towards your balance.
Who can come?
Pop In is open to painters of all ages! Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No unpaid observers are allowed, with the exception of parents/guardians for young children.
