About This Event

Every important pet in history has had its portrait painted, and your pet should be no different! We'll make it easy for you to paint your pet by pre-sketching your canvas based on a photograph of your pet, which you'll need to email us right after you reserve your seat. Your pet's photograph needs to be of high quality and high contrast (no black pets on black couches). Any kind of animal is allowed; it does not have to be a pet dog or cat. You may only paint one pet per canvas, but you can come back next month and paint another pet until your whole family is immortalized in paint!

Unlike most of our classes, we do not recommend this custom portrait class if this will be your first painting experience since grade school. You owe it to your pet to try one of our regular classes first!

If you’re coming with others, but making reservations separately, give us your group’s name or point person in the Special Request box. We'll seat you together! Our studio is for our painters only. Everyone needs a paid seat to stay on premises during all classes. (Private Parties have certain exceptions).

Remember we are NOT a BYOB so please do not bring any alcohol with you. We have a selection of wine & beer for sale at our Bomber Bar in the studio at affordable prices. You are invited to bring your own finger foods in case you get hungry during the break. We do not provide any eating or serving utensils.

MINIMUMS: We have a six (6) painter minimum for a class to take place. If we do not meet the minimum the class will be canceled and you will have the option of receiving a full refund or moving your reservation to another class at this studio only.

Refund/Cancellation

For PUBLIC CLASSES - We DO NOT offer REFUNDS, no exceptions! If you are unable to make the class you booked please call, text, or email our studio at least 4 hours before your scheduled class and we will happily issue you Store Credit for the full amount you paid. Store Credits will only be good for six months from the date of issue. Store credits are transferable to another painter, but not to another studio. We have a different cancelation policy for private parties.

Painting with a Twist reserves the right to change the painting, or artist, postpone or cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best not to, but should it become necessary for us to cancel a class, you will receive either a full refund or store credit.

Please be aware if you book a virtual class reservation or a take-home kit that SALE IS FINAL! Store credit will NOT be issued.

NO SHOWS/NO NOTICE WILL NOT RECEIVE STORE CREDIT.
