Genevieve

Genevieve has been at Twist Jenkintown for almost 6 years & is a triple-threat! She's a mom, an artist, and a she's a musician--you can hire her band for your wedding, mitzvah, awards ceremony, or divorce party! Seriously. Do it. You want this Lady at your party. While she doesn't sing as much during a Painting party, you'll definitely get a taste of Genevieve's voice during a class with her. At paint parties, Genevieve loves painting all of the things (silhouettes, trees, landscapes, black girl pride). At home, she loves painting Afrocentric ladies (she calls them her fro babies--check out her website link to see). Also owls. Owls are great. If you want to paint an owl, choose Genevieve. She's a bit obsessed.

Jade

Heyyooo! Meet Jade! She is from Philadelphia, born and raised! Jade went to school for the arts and graduated with flying colors. She has been working at Painting with a Twist for a year now and loves it at Jenkintown. One thing about Jenkintown PWAT that she loves, is watching everyone's creativity flow when teaching classes. Brad

Brad knows a lot of useless information--if you're doing a trivia night/paint party, pick Brad. He knows a little bit about most everything--pop culture, trivia, movies, music, sports, etc. He attended Hussian School of Art for Illustration and Advertising and his personal art consists of beautiful pen & ink abstract illustrations, landscapes, and skyscapes. Brad loves kids classes--they're just more free-spirited painters who aren't afraid to take risks. He owns 20 chickens.

Ever since E started working at Painting with a Twist Jenkintown, they have been fully dedicated to making your painting experience the best it can be! E is currently studying for a bachelor's degree in English at Penn State Abington (We Are!), as well as minors in writing and, of course, art. You'll always see them with a large iced matcha latte from Dunkin, and whatever goofy earrings they decided on today. You can always count on E to bring a lively energy to all your classes, and make you feel like part of the PWAT family!

Flynn

Greetings! Flynn has recently joined the team here as an assistant at Painting with a Twist. He enjoys avocado toasts, lush cosmetics, and raising the roof! Flynn has been painting for 7 years and enjoys using a fluid range of mediums and bright colors. Flynn is currently working towards an educational degree in psychology at Temple Uni! His favorite subjects involve abstract expressionism, symbolism and objects found within nature. Overall, Flynn’s electric and eclectic attitude is perfect to get the party functioning with funk and groove!

Melanie

Mel became a Regular at Painting with a Twist Jenkintown in 2015. There she found a love for art that she didn’t know she had! Through the years, Mel has honed her artistic skills and in 2023 was inspired to become an instructor. As an instructor, Mel finds joy in helping people create art that they will love for years to come, the way she does with all her paintings she made over the years at Twist Jenkintown. Shane

Meet Shane! He is one of our Painting Instructors at PWAT Andorra and Jenkintown. One of his favorite things about working as an Instructor, is that he gets to help guide and inspire people of all ages to try art again. All while showing people how truly fun it can be. While he does enjoy painting, he also likes to do digital artwork, sing/perform at shows, act and dance. He has been involved in a lot of different creative spaces over the years and hopes to further expand that as he grows as an artist and as a creative person.
