I enjoy all things creative and crafty, including painting. I love making jewelry using various methods and materials including metal/wire, bead work and weaving. In my free time I enjoy quilting, embroidery, crochet and knitting. I am a wife, mother of 2 boys and also work as a Paraprofessional in a kindergarten class and have over 14 years experience in childcare.
Hello! I’m Amy, and I’m super excited to be a part of the Painting with a Twist family! I was born and raised here in Lancaster County, in a small town you’ve probably never heard of, Mt. Nebo. From the first time I held a crayon (and drew all over my mothers kitchen cabinets) I knew I was meant to be an artist! I fell in love with painting, and would paint anything from weird alien creatures I dreamt up, to flowers I picked along the roadside. Now here we are, many years and five amazingly awesome kids later, I am painting every day and am enjoying life as a busy mom and freelance artist. While I seldomly paint any weird alien creatures in my adult years, I now love to paint landscapes, flowers, portraits, wildlife, and even an occasional abstract piece. I have a studio at Switcuboard Studios and Gallery in Columbia. Jenny grew up in North Central Pennsylvania, where she spent most of her adult life. She has always loved art and painting, however as with life she put that passion on a back burner and spent over 20 years in Radio as an on air personality. In 2017 she moved to Central Florida and continued her career in radio and placed in the top 3 for Radio Personality in Central Florida in 2022. She at this time found Painting with a Twist and worked in Winter Haven with the franchise as an artist. 2022 she made the decision to move back to Pennsylvania and is now apart of the Lancaster Painting with a Twist Family. She enjoys spending time with her two grown sons and daughter in laws and with her Great Dane!
