Our Las Vegas, NV Painting with a Twist Artists

Adam

Adam

Adam is a self-taught artist, who prefers to work with a variety of mediums including different paints, graphite and charcoal drawings, and collage. He started his artistic journey only 3 years ago, and hopes to impart his philosophy to his students - that anyone can be an artist.

Ari

Ari

Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Ari has always been fascinated by the arts. She was accepted into creative art schools for middle and high school, and after graduating, she started doing commission work. Her favorite commissions to work on have always been pet portraits. She has always had a passion for teaching and can regularly be found instructing both theater and art classes at the local recreation center. She's a huge theater and art nerd at heart and has been known to break into musical numbers if things get a little too quiet. She might even challenge you to a karaoke battle or tell everyone obscure facts about popular artists. (Did you know that Pablo Piccaso was accused of stealing the Mona Lisa?) Her favorite style is "Art Nouveau," and she is excitedly saving up to get a tattoo (rendered in an Art Nouveau style) of the "Temperance" tarot card, as it is her firm belief that everyone could use a little more balance in their life.

My Inner child's wisdom : "One brush stroke away from a smile." Nice to meet you, I'm Ms. Paint and All Things Creative but you can call me Dominique or Dom, whatever colors your palette. :)

As a huge Star Wars fan Jimmy points to Master Yoda for his personal motto, "Pass on what you have learned. We are what they grown beyond, this is the true burden of all masters". Inspired by NYC art and nightlife in his 20s, attended Burning Man and completed college in his 40s, climbed a volcano for 50, continuously plans to one day complete his MFA and to finally visit Italy. "It's never too late," he says.

Kirsi

Kirsi

Kirsi was raised in a small town near the Lake Tahoe area. As a child she  discovered the love of art when she started doodling on the walls of her home. Though her parents weren't pleased at the time, later in life the doodles on the wall became the professional murals that she creates today. High School is where Kirsi started to take painting more seriously. She also developed an interest in mental health. These two passions together have led to Kirsi’s interest in art therapy as a way to develop inner peace. She is excited to share this wonderful gift – teaching and encouraging everyone's natural creativity as well as the inner peace that she has experienced through painting.

Sam

Sam

Born and raised on the beautiful tropical island of Okinawa Sam always had a fascination and passion for art and culture. In Japan he spent much of his school years working on developing his skill eventually finding work through character design commission. Though he got his start working in character design painting and capturing the beauty of landscapes and architecture has become more of a passion as he continues to learn and grow as an artist. He hopes to travel the world to see the beauty and wonder of nature firsthand eventually working towards building an eco friendly sustainable house. Those who have met him will know he talks about his two wonderful cats non stop and is more than happy to trade pet pictures at a moments notice.
