What is Painting with a Twist?
Painting with a Twist is a fun art studio for anyone interested in painting! Our experienced artists give you step-by-step instructions for a fun painting experience. And you get to take home your canvas at the end of the class.
How does this work?
View our online calendar to select a painting you would like to create. Arrive 10 -15 minutes early. Bring your favorite sips and snacks. Get ready for a great time out!
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are required. You may reserve online, via telephone or by coming to the studio. All payments for reservations are processed at the time the reservation is made. We do require a credit card for reservations made via telephone.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a refund, a reservation must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the class will receive a store credit good for 90 days. There will be no refunds or credits given for cancellations made less than two hours before class time or no show/no cancellation. Cancellations for Paint Your Pet class must be made 5 days in advance for a refund.
Are we allowed to bring in beverages and food?
Yes, we are considered to be a bottle club so you may bring in any type of beverage as well as food - Remember you are painting most of the time so finger foods are best! Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.
Should I tip the Instructor/Assistant?
Tips are not expected, but always appreciated! You are welcome to tip the Artist and Assistant. They will be thrilled.
What does the class fee cover?
Your reservation fee includes everything you need to create a beautiful and unique painting! When you arrive you are supplied with an apron, canvas, brushes, paints and step-by-step art instruction throughout the class! We like to suggest that you "Dress for Mess" as acrylic paint does not come off most clothing. We also provide small cups and corkscrews.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, the age limit is 18 years old to attend most classes or 15 if accompanied by a paying adult. We do offer the following classes for our younger painters:
Family Fun classes - for ages 6 and up.
Daytime classes - ages 10 and up.
Teen & Up classes - 12 and up.
Can my friends or children come and watch without painting?
Everyone needs a paid seat to stay on premises during alll classes however, parents of younger painters may remain in the studio during Family classes but may not be able to sit next to them depending on the class size. We strongly encourage parents to allow children to paint on their own - they will have more fun and we are there to help them if they ask for it.
Do I have to paint the featured painting?
No, you are welcome to explore your creativity and paint anything you like, however, the artist and staff will be instructing the featured painting and will not have time to offer individual instruction.
What time should I get there if I add a candle to my painting?
Please arrive 30 minutes early to make a all natural long lasting soy candle with over a dozen scents!
