Meg Shoop

Hi! My name is Meg! I am raising my 2 nephews, they are 17 and 13, and I have 3 dogs and 2 cats (my fur babies). I found Painting With A Twist when I was looking for something fun to do with my nephews and fell in love. It quickly became a place that I could go with the girls or by myself to have some “Me Time” and to get out of the house and relax. After a year of being a customer, I convinced them to hire me and love every minute I am here. I truly love getting to know all our guests and spending time with everyone! I recently decided to purchase the business because it’s my happy place! I wanted to continue to provide a fun place for everyone to come together while making art and having fun! The studio is a safe and fun place where people celebrate their life moments. Whether it’s a 1st date, birthday party, bachelorette party, work meeting/team building event, or any other moment! I look forward to continuing to help you celebrate those “BIG” life moments and the “I just need out of the house moments”. I hope to see you soon!!

Sara Stevens

Hi there, I’m Sara! You may recognize me from the green location where I was one of the original artist instructors. A little about me, I’ve known I was an artistic soul since about eighth grade when my art teacher guided me to pursue art high school. I soon realized it was my God-given talent to continue to create throughout my life in many forms. Starting at Kent State studying Painting and Jewelry making! Later I was lead to culinary school where I earned my Associates Degree in pastry and baking. My love for art encouraged me to continue my education in other forms and have since been licensed as a cosmetologist for about 7 years! Through all these forms of creativity my soul is still pulled to the BASICS which is my love for acrylic paint and alcohol ink designs. I am so eager to continue to share my skill set with you and look forward to enjoy the interactive experience of paint nights together! I’m excited to paint with you! Cheers to fun and color! -Sara

Howdy! My name is Ashley! I live in Louisville with my husband and 2 kids, they are 15 and 3, and we have 2 corgis (Chief and Ollie). I have an extensive work history in restaurant management and training. I also have a Bachelor of Science in health and health education from Texas A&M University. I love to inspire and help others create art. I have been drawing, painting and crafting for as long as I can remember, and my philosophy is to create every day. Throughout my college career I took a few art classes and took on various art projects for clubs and organizations in which I was involved. I am so excited to help you have fun, relax and create something beautiful. I’m looking forward to working with you! - Ashley

Hannah

Hey! I’m Hannah. I’m an engineer, painter, and aspiring active person. I love doing marathons, ultras, 5k, obstacle courses, the works. I also love hiking, being in nature, and disc golf! I have chickens, turkeys, and 4 dogs along with a few other smaller animals at my house in Akron. My love for the exotic recently allowed me to add a snapping turtle to the clan! I love to paint, craft, and crochet and have been doing it as long as I remember. I'm that weird cousin that usually brings a craft with me to many family gatherings. I’ve been painting since middle school and really started to excel in my high school art classes and in college hosted many bob ross paint nights with and without friends present. I am so excited to share my love of painting with more people but beware I have an awkward charm, at least that’s what my mom says.
