Erin Wendel

Erin has worked for Painting with a Twist since 2009 when the North Austin studio opened. She now manages the North Austin and Round Rock studios. Erin has her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of North Texas. In her personal work she paints large scale oil paintings and works as a part time scenic artist for Zach Theatre. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and being a mother.

Shelby Elizabeth is an illustrator living and working in Austin, Texas. In 2010, she received her BFA in Illustration with Honors from Ringling College of Art and Design. In addition to painting, Shelby spends her time creating detailed pen and ink drawings. Her drawings can be found all over Austin at various shows and markets.

Jami Talon

James “Jami” Talon is a queer game developer, artist, and creative tinkerer with lots of hobbies, and these days is mainly focused on Digital Art Commissions (https://jamestalon.art/index.php/digital-art-character-art/) and Pet Portraits. (https://jamestalon.art/index.php/commissions/) As far as traditional media goes, Jami is primarily a mixed media artist, with many materials from local creative reuse centers and thrift stores. Additionally, Jami was Art Director and Producer for the social game Furcadia for about a decade, and studied art for a few years in college (with a degree in Linguistics). Tori Marquez

Tori Marquez

Victoria Majesta Marquez is an artist from Laredo, Tx; currently based in Austin, Tx. Marquez graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2018 with a BFA in Studio Art. She has worked in a wide range of mediums, such as acrylic painting, mural making, foam carving, 3D printing, CNC routing, and ceramics. Her body of work explores themes connected to nature, psychedelic imagery, color theory, and creatures intersecting in the realm of the surreal. As a muralist Marquez has been commissioned for murals/artwork from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Art in Public Places Austin, The Butler School of Music at UT Austin, and Keep Laredo Beautiful Program. She was awarded “TEMPO 2021” with AIPP and “FORTLANDIA 2024” with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Her work has been shown at Womzimer in Los Angeles CA, Peoples Gallery in Austin TX, Artus Co, East Austin Studio Tour, VAC-Visual Arts Center, Laredo Center for the Art, Gallery 201, and Tamiu Center for the Arts. In her professional career Marquez has worked as a fabricator at Blue Genie Art Industries, a Designer and Laser CNC operator at Ion Art, a painting Instructor with Totally Cool Totally Art, and a Digital Fabrication Lab proctor at UT Austin Instagram: Tori.majesta

Marjolyn Varano

Marjolyn Varano

Born and raised in Central Texas, Marjolyn Varano graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Drawing & Painting from the University of North Texas in 2011. Her personal work explores printed text coupled with concepts of relationships and realistic pet portraits of animals that are important to specific individuals. For her own amusement, she loves to travel as much as possible, dance everywhere, take naps, send anonymous gifts to strangers and complete crossword puzzles.
