Alina Velasquez

I was born and raised in Houston. I have been creating art for as along as I can remember. It has been my one and only passion since I was a little girl. My ambition and my creativity have always been the qualities I value most in myself. After studying art in high school, I got my Associates Degree at Alvin Community College where I studied film and digital photography. During that time, I was a freelance portrait photographer. After graduating, I transferred to the University of Houston where I am currently majoring in Graphic Design. I have studied most mediums, including acrylic and gouache painting, drawing/charcoal, watercolor, color theory, graphic design and photography. I now work as a freelance artist and creative intern while I finish up my education. I hope to one day open my own Design studio where I will create new artwork everyday to make our city more beautiful and creative, collaborating with local artists and teaching the young artists in my community. Elizabeth Rodriquez

Meet Elizabeth! Elizabeth is a Pearland-based artisan who has spent decades perfecting her craft. Her work has been displayed at numerous church, school, and Chamber of Commerce (Cleveland, TX) functions. She is the owner of American Artisan - EAR and creates custom art, earrings, and engraved work, as well as interior design and DIY projects. She is a coach's wife and mother of 4 great kids. "I love working for Jon and Geri. They welcome my children and appreciate hard work. Working as a Painting Instructor for Painting with a Twist is a dream come true. I love everything about it, our team, the art, and the guests!"

Jeniss Bonrud

My name is Jeniss Bonrud, but I like to be called Genesis. I'm 29 years old.  I've been doing painting classes for the last 5 years but have only been with PWAT for 2 months. I enjoy teaching and have fun painting. PWAT is my 2nd job.  I also work in Mortgage at Texas Bay Credit Union for the last 10 years. I am married to a wonderful husband and have a little rascal kitten named Spooky. I love spending time with my family and planning events and parties. I LOVE Mac and Cheese, cartoons, cats, and the beach.

Keyasha Donaldson

Art has always been a part of Keyasha’s life. In December 2021, while living in Houston, she started learning how to paint while working at Painting with A Twist. While working with acrylics, she fell in love with painting. Her customers couldn’t believe she had only been painting for just a short amount of time. This gave her the ambition to continue to work with acrylics and do some of her own art. While only working with acrylics she is very determined to work with other mediums as her art career soars. She believes that if you put your mind to your creativity, you can do anything, and she does it through her art.
