Welcome to Pop In & DIY at Painting with a Twist – where creativity meets spontaneity! Dive into an array of DIY projects, perfect for all skill levels and ages. Just drop in during our Pop In hours listed below OR reserve a time to come in, choose your favorite project, and create something uniquely yours using our detailed instructions and inspiration guides.
We offer a wide variety of projects and surfaces. In addition to our traditional canvases, planks, and pallets, we are happy to introduce 3D wood figurines, 6" wood cutouts, 18" wood cutouts, DIY candles, pillows, banners and so much more! Please try to arrive at least an hour before close so you have enough time to complete your project. Some projects come with step by step video instructions so bring your smartphone and some earbuds to follow along. We can't wait to see you!

Q: What is Pop In & Paint?
A: It's the perfect activity for you and your family/friends to unleash your creative energy.
Q: How does Pop In & Paint work?
A: It's easy. You walk-in, choose your project, and we will provide everything you need to create your masterpiece. It is DIY experience where you work at your own pace but we do have an artist on-hand to answer any questions you may have.
Q: Can my friends (or children) come to watch without painting?
A: Only paid guests are allowed. NO INFANTS PLEASE!
Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: No, but we do recommend it. Reserving a table guarantees that we have room for you. Also, it's life and things happen! Should the need to close studio arise, guests with reservations can be notified.
Q: Are we allowed to bring in food and beverages?
A: YES! That’s still the TWIST. Feel free to bring in your favorite beverage and some snacks to enjoy during your session. Remember, you are painting most of the time, so finger foods are best. We supply cups, plates, napkins, and bottle openers, but you’ll need to bring ice and utensils.
Q: Can children paint?
A: Absolutely! We love our young artists and our new 3D wood cutouts are great for kids. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Q: Is Pop-In and Paint and option for Corporate and/or Offsite events?
A: It is! Please contact the studio to discuss your wants and needs in detail. We look forward to discussing the different ways we can provide you with a unique experience for all to remember!
Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: The Pop In and Paint "table" deposit is NON REFUNDABLE.
Q: What if there is bad weather?
A: We recommend giving us a call at 412-488-7928 to confirm if we are open, and offering our Pop In & Paint sessions. Guests with a "table" reservation will be notified if the studio is closing, and a store credit will be issued.
Q: When should I arrive?
A: You can arrive anytime during our Walk-In hours. Just remember, our sessions end at 9:00 PM (7:00 PM on Sunday), so arrive at a time that will allow you to complete your project. We recommend 2 hours.
