Amber is a creative, fun and talented artist with her own funky style! Her classes enjoy her great teaching skills and sassy humor. She always has a positive attitude and a quick and witty comeback. Amber is someone you can count on who steps up when she is needed and has gone above and beyond many times for her fellow PWAT Team! She also is always up for any creative projects like painting fun aprons and cut outs for the studio, creating new paintings to offer our customers, and she also has designed and demonstrated artwork for numerous public PWAT events.

Billie - Studio Owner

Meet Billie Athanas – Owner of Painting with a Twist, Robinson Township! Billie is the proud owner of Painting with a Twist in Robinson Township, PA, where creativity and fun come together for the perfect escape. She first discovered Painting with a Twist in December 2014 when she took her daughter to a class. Despite having a busy and stressful life, she was able to leave all her worries at the door and just enjoy the moment—even though she hadn’t picked up a paintbrush since high school art class! That experience sparked something special, and by December 2015, she was cutting the ribbon on her very own studio. Billie loves that Painting with a Twist can be different things to different people—a night out with friends, an artistic discovery, or simply a chance to unwind. Whether guests come for a fun escape or to reconnect with their creative side, she is proud to provide a welcoming space where anyone can create something amazing—no experience required! Among all the classes offered, Halloween paintings are her favorite! A true farm girl at heart, Billie owns and operates Hillcrest Farms Rescue and Sanctuary in Washington, PA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit caring for around 75 equines, including mini donkeys, horses, draft horses, and mammoth mules. While she loves owning multiple businesses, her heart is always happiest when she’s surrounded by her animals and loved ones on the farm. A Duquesne University graduate with a master’s from West Virginia University, Billie balances her love of business, community, and creativity with her passion for animal rescue. She welcomes everyone to come paint, sip, and relax at Painting with a Twist—where even non-artists (like herself!) can create something beautiful.

Dana - Studio Manager

Meet Dana, Our Amazing Studio Manager! Dana has been the heartbeat of our Painting with a Twist studio for over a year, bringing a perfect mix of organization, creativity, and community spirit. With over 20 years of experience managing offices in the real estate title industry, she knows how to keep things running smoothly—but her artistic side makes her a natural fit for our studio. Dana is dedicated to making Painting with a Twist a fun and welcoming escape, always going the extra mile to accommodate clients and ensure every class is a fantastic experience. She’s also the ultimate support system for our instructors, making sure they have everything they need (including snacks!) to inspire creativity. Outside the studio, Dana is just as caring. She runs a children’s charity during Christmas, a cause that is close to her heart. And at home, she stays busy with her three amazing kids—twin boys and a daughter. If we had to sum up Dana in three words? Caring, dedicated, and creative. Stop by and say hello—she’ll make sure your Painting with a Twist experience is unforgettable!
