Q: Do we pre-sketch the canvases?
A: Most of our classes are NOT pre-sketched. The reason? It allows for a lot more creativity and customization! And our artists are awesome and know how to each anyone!!! Our twisters (customers) end the night with a feeling of pride, accomplishment, and "can't believe I just painted that on my own!" Yes, we have brought some twisters to tears because of how amazed and accomplished they feel at the end of class. Come discover your inner artist in a relaxed, stress-free, fun studio. ANYONE can do this, from ages 5 to 105! We promise!
Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: Two hour classes are offered for $35 and three hour classes for $45. Most kids and family friendly 1.5 hour classes offered for $25.
Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule?
A: The calendar is posted on the 1st of every month (or shortly after) for the next month coming up.
Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we have hair dryers which will dry them quickly. Then you can immediately hang and show your masterpiece for all to admire!
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: Fifteen to 20 minutes is plenty of lead time. If you show up earlier, we may put you to work!:)
Q: Do you do reserved seating?
A: Yes. Upon your seat reservation checkout, under the "Sitting with anyone else" or "Special Requests" section, list others you would like to sit with. If you prefer to not sit with your friends or family, then leave this section blank.
Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine openers and cups and all art supplies (canvas, easel, apron, paints, brushes, artist). Other items such as plates, utensils, napkins we do not supply.
Q: Can we bring food and drink?
A: Yes, we are BYOB and BYOF! Bring any drink (alcohol or non-alcohol) and any food you would like. Some people have their food delivered right to our studio! Alcohol is not permitted during kids classes, as stated in the class description. Must be 21 years old to consume alcohol.
Q: What do I wear?
A: NOTHING! Ha ha, just kidding! But now that we have your attention, whatever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We will have aprons for you to borrow.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Many of our classes sell out, so we do require advanced reservations with payment to secure seats and we require a 24 hour cancellation notice. No calls/no shows will not be issued store credit or refunds.
Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, of course! What better reason to get your comrades together?!?!? We have 3 separate studios (classrooms) that can accommodate up to 110 people. See Party Info
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: Our normal classes are a 16x20" canvas, but we also have 24x36, 12x12, wood cutouts, and wine glass classes!!!
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Age limits are listed under each class description on our class calendar. Most evening and weekend classes are for adults. We recommend age 6 and older for Family Day or kids classes. Must be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. We also have several classes for ages 10 and up, 15 and up that are BYOB.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Refund or store credit will be given for individuals canceling with at least 24 hours notice. "No shows" will not be issued store credit or refunds. Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
