What are the benefits of a Private Party?

You select your own masterpiece to paint from our collection of thousands of paintings. A link will be emailed to you so that you can choose your painting! You will have the option to upgrade to a premium art surface. (See additional info for Kid's Birthday Parties below)
You can schedule your party any day of the week, space permitting. We have morning, afternoon and evening slots available.
You get your own private party room and your own artist-instructor.
No set up, no clean up - just show up!
You get the room 30 minutes before your guest arrival time to set up your party to celebrate.
We provide all of the art supplies, as well as wine glasses, napkins, paper plates, plastic utensils and corkscrews. Guests may bring their snacks and drinks of choice.

Kids Party Packages:

Explore our exciting Kids Party Packages for a delightful two-hour experience! Begin with 30 minutes dedicated to a delicious food session, followed by an engaging hour and a half of painting. Our dedicated hostess can arrive 30 minutes prior to your guests to ensure a seamless setup.

For our private parties catering to kids, we kindly request a minimum of 10 paid attendees, with a maximum limit of 26. Discover the perfect package for your celebration:

Standard Painting Package - $29 per child Dive into the world of art with our standard painting session.
Painting and Pizza Package - $29 per child For added delight, call Hungry Howies at 248-852-0002 to snag a Large Pizza with one topping for just $9.99. Enjoy an extra 30% off on additional add-ons like pop and salad.
Blacklight Painting Party - $34 each Immerse yourself in a vibrant and unique painting experience under blacklight.
Chrome Animal Balloons and Painting - $36 each Elevate the celebration with chrome animal balloons for each child made by our artists and an additional 30 minutes of creative fun.
Blacklight and Painting with Party Favor - $37 each Take home a blacklight flashlight as a party favor after enjoying the fusion of blacklight and painting.
Face Painting and Painting - $39 each Add a touch of magic with face painting, with an extra 30 minutes dedicated to this artistic activity.
Painting and Slime Making - $44 each Unleash the fun with a combination of painting and slime making, with an option for an extra 30 minutes of slime creativity.
Painting and Blacklight (Glow in the Dark) Slime Making - $49 each Experience the ultimate glow-in-the-dark celebration with painting and blacklight slime making.

Make your child's special day unforgettable with our diverse and exciting Kids Party Packages!

Yes, we would love to book a private party for you! All parties receive a complimentary half hour prior to the start time to mix, mingle and listen to music before we start! You may also bring food in during this time for your guests to enjoy. For adults you may bring in wine only for alcohol and any non alcoholic beverages. If you or your guests prefer beer, hard cider, wine coolers or selzers you must purchase those from our studio (these are all $4) we also sell wine! ($12 for a bottle, $4 per glass.)

When can I have a party?

7 days of the week & you name the time, subject to artist availability.

Kid's parties ages 5-12 may be booked Mon-Fri at anytime. Night parties are for adults so the latest time we can start a kids party is 5pm. On Saturdays and Sundays the first 2 party times are reserved for kids! Saturdays are 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm and Sundays are 11:30am-1:30pm or 2:30pm-4:30pm. You may request a different time and if we can accomadate you we will.

How do I reserve a spot for my party?

You may reserve your entire party online including putting down your deposit. After that someone will reach out to you to finalize the little details. If you prefer to speak with someone to book your party please call/text at 248-289-6507 or send us an email at studio114@paintingwithatwist.com

How do I pay for my party?

If you are paying for everyone, we will call you three days in advance of your party to get the balance. If you are having people pay for themselves, we will set up a passcode and a link so you can send it to your guests to have them sign up and pay.

How much in advance do I need to schedule my party?

The sooner, the better!

How do I know which painting I can choose for my party?

Once your private party is booked, an invitation to our online painting gallery is generated to view our painting selections.

What is the minimum and maximum for parties?

The minimum is 10 painters or 10 seats paid for. You may have less than 10 and still have a private event but you will be resposible to pay for 10. The max is 26. If you need more space we may be able to accomadate you in our larger room which holds 43.
