Jenn has had an interest in arts and crafts since a young age. She would customize clothes, do projects at home and create designs to fit her taste when she couldn't find what she was looking for in the stores. She also uses her talents to make homemade gifts for family and friends. She was always told she was in the wrong field of work and should be using her artistic talent, which is why she is excited to be a part of the Painting with a Twist team.
My name is Kimberly Dove. I was born in Columbus, Ohio. I have two beautiful daughters. I grew up in Arizona. Being raised in the Southwest has had a large influence on my art. I am passionate about the Native Americans, desert landscape and the wildlife, especially horses. I graduated from Emporia State University where I received a BS in Art and Recreation and Leisure Studies with a Minor in Psychology. My emphasis was in weaving and fiber arts but I also studied painting, drawing, metalry, art history, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture. I moved to New Zealand in 1997. I worked as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Early Childhood Educator and was a partner in a building company. During this time I received a graduate diploma in Teaching Primary Education. Afterwards, I taught year 5 and 6 at Te Awamutu Primary School in Te Awamutu, New Zealand. In 2013 I moved back to Ohio with my youngest daughter and currently work downtown for a steel company.
Hello! I went to school at Kent State and Akron University for graphic design and love all things art and art related! I took a break from school to peruse a new job as a Sous Chef in Cleveland! Now instead of making art on a computer I do it with food! When I’m not cooking, I love going to Indians games, walking through the park to look at all the cute dogs, or hanging out at home with my fur baby Miles and my boyfriend watching movies. Hey there! I've always had a passion for the arts. Doesn't matter if I'm performing on a stage, crafting Holiday decorations, or doing crazy hair and makeup I simply enjoying creating beautiful things. I studied Digital Media and Sociology in Orlando, FL where I worked for Red Bull, ABC, and Diageo. It was exciting to work field and digital marketing positions in such a warm climate, however I knew I wanted to return home to Ohio someday to be with family and loved ones. I am a big fan of Piet Mondrian and all things Abstract Art. I've gained so much insight by going to Museums in different cities and exploring nature. Expressing yourself through different forms of art is so rewarding! Hi, I'm Ilona! I love all kinds of visual art, and have always loved painting, photography, and drawing. I also love telling stories, and studied film at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Savannah College of Art and Design. Now, I love telling stories visually, and painting is perfect for that! Vicki has loved art since childhood, and loves to create something amazing out of nothing but an idea and some art supplies. She graduated from Cuyahoga Community College for Graphic Design, where her favorite classes were ceramics and art. Vicki is a full time mom, unofficial comedian, and enjoys making art, soaps, and other crafts at home. She is now delighted to be an artist at Painting with a Twist in Strongsville.
