Kim
My name is Kimberly Dove. I was born in Columbus, Ohio. I have two beautiful daughters.
I grew up in Arizona. Being raised in the Southwest has had a large influence on my art. I am passionate about the Native Americans, desert landscape and the wildlife, especially horses.
I graduated from Emporia State University where I received a BS in Art and Recreation and Leisure Studies with a Minor in Psychology. My emphasis was in weaving and fiber arts but I also studied painting, drawing, metalry, art history, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture.
I moved to New Zealand in 1997. I worked as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Early Childhood Educator and was a partner in a building company. During this time I received a graduate diploma in Teaching Primary Education. Afterwards, I taught year 5 and 6 at Te Awamutu Primary School in Te Awamutu, New Zealand.
In 2013 I moved back to Ohio with my youngest daughter and currently work downtown for a steel company.
