What is Painting with a Twist?
Unleash your creativity at Painting with a Twist! Our art studio is a fun and welcoming environment for anyone interested in painting. We use acrylic paints on 16" x 20" canvases (or wood), and our experienced instructors guide you step-by-step through the painting of the day. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, you're sure to have a blast and leave with a beautiful work of art.
Can I stop in anytime and paint?
Get your creative fix on your own schedule with our Pop-in & Paint experience! Every Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM (arrive by 2:30 PM), you can drop in to our studio to paint on canvas, wood, or small cut-outs. This self-guided experience lets you choose any piece you like to complete, and we provide all the supplies you need. For a little extra guidance, you can also choose from our art library and follow step-by-step instructions at your own pace. Reservations aren't required, but we recommend you make one to ensure we can accommodate you.
Public Events:
Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, our classes are designed to help you unleash your creativity. To join us, simply visit our calendar, find the class you want to attend, and register online. Classes are lead by our seasoned Artists. Please remember that pre-registration is required for all classes.
Can I order kits for at Home?
Yes, Here you will find Gift Kits (Artwork can be selected by the recipient at a later date) and Add-on Retail Items.

Are we allowed to bring in beverages and food?
ALCOHOL: We have Beer/Wine/Seltzer available for purchase, along with light snacks. Feel free to bring additional snacks.
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code (ORC) § 4301 Prohibition of Outside Alcohol: Establishments holding a liquor permit are strictly prohibited from allowing patrons to bring their own alcoholic beverages onto the premises.
BYOB (Bring your own Alcohol) is illegal in Ohio and can result in fines for both the establishment and the customer. Let's sip, snack, and create some unforgettable memories!
Do I need to bring anything with me to paint?
No need to worry about bringing your own supplies – your reservation fee includes everything! When you arrive, we'll provide you with an apron, canvas, brushes, paints, and step-by-step art instruction so you can create a unique painting you'll love. And the best part? Your artwork will be ready to hang as soon as class is done.
Can my child come with me to paint?
We have specific classes on our calendar for young artists!
Family Day classes are intended for ages 7 and up.
All Ages classes are intended for ages 10 and up.
Teen & Up classes are intended for ages 13 and up.
Evening classes are for adults 18 and older.
Can my friends come and watch us without painting?
We want to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all of our guests, which is why we require that everyone has a paid seat during classes. We don't allow sharing of canvases or spectators, so please be sure to reserve your spot in advance to ensure a great experience.
Cancellation Policy:
Please note our policy to cancel applies to individuals in all public and private events.
If you notify the studio more than 25 hours from your reservation date, a full studio credit will be issued for your use towards a future class. We do NOT issue refunds.
If you notify the studio 24 hours or less from the class start time, no studio credit will be issued.
No Shows - No studio credit will be given.
Private Event Hosts follow the cancellation policy terms outlined in the Private Event Agreement signed by host.
Bad Weather: Class will cancel if a weather emergency is declared or we determine the roads to be too unsafe to travel on, otherwise our cancellation policy is as stated above. In the rare case of a class cancelling due to poor weather conditions, studio credit will be issued to all registered guests. Please see our website for updates in a case of questionable weather.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive 15 minutes or more late you may not be allowed to paint and lose the registration fee. Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled class time and we will have a blast!
Do you have Candles??
Who says you can't have your art and enjoy a great scent too? With our candle-making option, you can do just that! Choose from tons of scents and create your own candle for only $15 with any class (or purchase a pre-made candle for $20). These candles make excellent gifts and are sure to add a little extra something to your painting experience. Just remember to arrive 30 minutes prior to class to create your masterpiece.
My coupon doesn't work: Coupons are typically valid on events over $39 (which are the bulk of our events), as well as retail (over $15) and Twist at Home Kits. Specialty classes, such as Paint your Pet/Medium/Blanket classes are excluded, classes less than $39 or already discounted events are also excluded. Coupons have an expiration date. (Gift cards do not expire and are valid on any event)
