Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: Prices depend on the surface that you select. The standard 16x20 canvas for the two-hour classes are offered for $38 and three-hour classes for $48. Select all ages 1.5-hour paintings are $28.
Q: Can I pay for the class when I get there?
A: Payment is due at the time of the reservation in our website to guarantee your seat. If you choose not to pay online, please call our studio to make payment by phone (602) 758-7928. If you visit our studio to pay in person, we cannot guarantee your seat. You may be put on the waiting list if all the seats fill up.
Q: Can I just walk in for any class?
A: We do have Pop-In and Paint classes during business hours that are walk-in. You can join any class as long as the instructor has room for you, and it is not a private party. Last minute walk-ins may be turned away as it takes time to set up each seat.
Q: How does Pop In and Paint work?
A: Pop In and Paint is an option that allows you to come in during our business hours. You are able to choose one of our Twist at Home paintings and canvas size (each person can pick a different painting), and you are able to paint at your own pace. There is an artist available to help with any questions or techniques as well as supply more paint and supplies.
Q: On Google, it says you are closed after 5 pm, but I am registered for a class after that. Are you still open?
A: Yes. Our office hours are 11am - 3pm Monday - Friday but our studio is open until all running classes are completed.
Q: What if there are not enough seats for my party?
A: Call us at the studio at 602-758-7928 to see if we can open any more seats or if there are any other options.
Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule?
A: The calendar is posted on the 15th of every month for the following month.
Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we will have hair dryers that will dry them quickly.
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: Ten to fifteen minutes before will give you enough time to check in and get ready to paint. If you choose to make your Candle please arrive 30 minutes before the class.
Q: Do you have reserved seating?
A: Yes. Use Grouping to note any of the people sitting together and any other requirements needed.
Q: Do you have gift cards?
A: Yes, you can purchase cards both online and in the studio. Gift cards can be used at any studio and no expiration.
Q: I want to purchase a gift card. How much would be a good amount?
A: A good average amount would be $40 before taxes.
Q: Can we bring in alcohol?
A: Yes, but only after 4 PM unless. Only wine, beer, spritzers, or light alcohol. No hard liquor, please. If you come to an adult's class after 4 PM be advise that guests will consume alcohol. We reserve the right to ask for a goverment ID.
Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply complimentary wine openers, cups, and a wine cooler, but no ice. We also have wine glasses to purchase.
Q: Since it is around dinner, can we bring food?
A: Yes, feel free to bring in a snack. Private parties are welcome to do catering.
Q: Do you have kids' classes?
A: Yes, Family Day Events are for kids and adults. 1.5-hour classes are set up for younger kids and 2-hour classes for all ages.
Q: This is my first time at Painting With A Twist, what do I need to bring?
A: We supply everything you need to create your masterpiece including canvas, paints, brushes, an apron, an instructor, and a lot of fun. You can bring in snacks, drinks, and friends.
Q: What do I wear?
A: Whatever is comfortable that you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We have aprons for you to wear to protect your clothes.
Q: Where is the best place to park?
A: Our studio faces North towards Baseline Road. There is parking available both in the front next to Baseline Road and also at the back or South side of the building. GPS shows our entrance in the back or South side of the building. There are doors there, but the entrance for check-in is on the North side. Choose your best exercise option.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: We do require reservations with payment to secure seats and we require a 48-hour cancellation for a refund. No calls/no-shows will not be issued store credit or refunds. Groups of 5 or more must cancel 3 days before the date of the class. (Please leave a voice message or text if calling after hours, 602-758-7928). You do not need to have a reservation for Pop In and Paint.
Q: What if I can't register online?
A: The cutoff for online registration is 2 hours before the class. If it is after this cutoff, call the studio directly and register over the phone.
Q: Do you have private parties?
A: Yes, we can accommodate up to 24 to 48 people depending on the room. We can do In Studio, Virtual, and Offsite Parties. See Party Info
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We predominantly use a 16 x 20-inch canvas, but there are different sizes and surfaces to choose from. Ask about your options.
Q: Can I tip the artist?
A: Yes! The artist works hard to prepare for your class and to create a fun environment for you to paint You can also show appreciation by giving our studio and the artist a great review in Google, Facebook, Instagram, or Yelp.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: As of January 1, 2014, all classes or parties after 6 pm Mon-Fri and 4 pm Sat-Sun must be 18 or older. We recommend age 7 and older for Family Day or afternoon classes. For Kids Parties ages 7-12. Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. Periodically, classes will be run at night that will be alcohol-free and family-friendly. Q: What is your refund policy?
A: If you need to cancel your reservation, we ask for as much notice as possible. If you notify the studio 2 hours or less from the class start time, no credit will be issued. If you are canceling within 24 hours of the event, a store credit will be issued for future use. To receive a refund, we kindly ask for a 48-hour+ notice of cancellation. Please note, that NO SHOWS without contact will not receive store credit or a refund. Groups of 5 or more must cancel 3 days before the date of the class. Please call or text 602-758-7928. If you are 30 minutes late to the class, you may not be allowed to paint and your payment will be forfeited. Painting with a Twist reserves the right to change the artist, postpone the class, or cancel a class for unforeseen circumstances. Classes with insufficient enrollment may be canceled. Customers will be notified 2 hours in advance and refunds will be issued.
